What does a professional organiser do?

A professional organiser helps you declutter, organise and simplify your home. We work alongside you to sort through belongings, create practical storage solutions and develop systems that make it easier to keep your home organised long term.

Do you help with decluttering as well as organising?

Yes. Decluttering is often the first step before organising. We help you decide what to keep, donate, recycle or dispose of, then create practical systems for the items you choose to keep.

How far do you travel?

We're based in Sevenoaks and love helping people across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London get their homes back in order. 

 

Here's a general guide to how far we travel:

 

Within 15 miles: Sevenoaks, Westerham, Tonbridge, Oxted, Swanley, Edenbridge, Southborough, West Malling, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Orpington, Dartford

 

15 to 30 miles: Paddock Wood, East Grinstead, Bromley, Gravesend, Caterham, Maidstone, Croydon, Redhill, Rochester, Reigate, Chatham, Gillingham, Epsom, Chislehurst

 

30 to 40 miles: Leatherhead, Horley, Crawley, Brentwood, Uckfield, Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Canterbury, Tenterden, Lewes

 

Further afield: we also travel to areas including Bracknell, Ascot, Reading and Winchester, and further by arrangement, just get in touch and we'll let you know if we can help.

Will you judge the state of my home?

Absolutely not. We understand that clutter can build up for many different reasons, including busy lifestyles, family commitments, illness, bereavement and major life changes. Our approach is always supportive, compassionate and completely judgement-free.

How long does a decluttering session take?

Every home and project is different. Some clients need help with a single room, while others require support across multiple areas of their home. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals and recommend a suitable approach.

Do I need to tidy before you arrive?

No. In fact, it’s often more helpful for us to see the space as it is. This allows us to understand how you currently use the space and identify the best solutions for your needs.

Can you help me prepare for a house move?

Yes. We regularly help clients declutter before moving house, downsizing or preparing a property for sale. Decluttering before a move can reduce packing time, lower moving costs and make settling into your new home much easier.

Can you help with wardrobe organisation?

Yes. Wardrobe decluttering and organisation is one of our most popular services. We can help you sort through clothing, create practical storage solutions and make your wardrobe easier to use every day. We can also help create a capsule wardrobe, ensuring the clothes you keep work well together, giving you more outfit options with fewer items and making getting dressed simpler and less stressful.

What happens to the items I no longer want?

Where possible, unwanted items can be donated, recycled or disposed of responsibly. We work in partnership with a number of charities and community organisations, helping to give your unwanted items a second life wherever possible rather than sending them to landfill. We can discuss the most suitable options for your items during your session.

How much do your decluttering services cost?

The cost depends on the size of the project and the level of support required. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we’ll be happy to provide more information.

Do you offer help for people feeling overwhelmed with clutter?

Yes. Many of our clients contact us because they feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. We break the process into manageable steps and provide practical support to help you regain control of your space.
